I Knew He Looked Familiar

Looking back at some of the Oxford Cup photos I noticed that I'd been playing at the same table as John Kalmar. He just came 5th in the WSOP main event for a cool $1.2 million. We had a good chat at the Oxford Cup and it turned out that we'd played a bit together on the online cash tables. He's a really nice guy and obviously an excellent player so it's great to see him do so well.

I've not much else to report. I've had another good week online, although haven't put in the hours I would have liked. This month's rakeback cheque will be somewhat depleted unless I pull my finger out over the remaining days.

The bankroll is now big enough that I'm playing the £100 and $200 with full stacks. I'm also taking a few more shots at the £200 and occasionally the $500 with a short stack.

I've been spending a lot of time on Cardrunners.com and it seems to be helping my game considerably. Somewhere over the last few months I seemed to have lost all of my aggression. I've rediscovered it thanks to Cardrunners and it's been making a big difference to my game.

That's about it for now. Off to the zoo this afternoon.

Pinky do you have any numbers for how much rakeback you are averaging at the $200 tables?

Maybe an hourly earn rate per table?
