Still Grinding

It's been a while since my last post, as you may have noticed. Real life bad beats in the shape of bereavements in the extended Pink family have unsurprisingly diverted attention away from posting here.

I've been grinding away nonetheless and the results have been good. I also received June's rakeback as a lump sum. So now the bankroll is more comfortable and I've been able to pay off the credit card.

It's no overnight recovery, just the first step on a long road back. I'm still playing the £100 and $200 tables and will be for at least another month, unless things go very well.

Today, I've finally taken some steps in poker tuition which I've been meaning to do for some time. I wanted something more than can be gained by posting and reading on 2+2 and other such forums and I don't have the cash to spend on one-on-one lessons. I believe I've found the perfect middle ground in signing up to CardRunners and now have access to all their tuitional videos. From the first couple I've watched I have no doubt that I'm going to learn a lot.

Now go back to your WSOP reading.

Hi Pinky, sad to hear about the family. Happy to see you positive again.

Sippin Whiskey and Poker is no longer a quasi poker site by Ten Mile.

If you still read Mile, http://tenmile-thane.blogspot.com/
    should do it for you.
